Rates are up this week as there has been weakness in bond trading as investors appear to be shifting towards stock and away from bonds.Conforming 30 Year Fixed Rates are at 6.125%, Conforming Agency/Plus ($417,000 to $729,750) are at 6.25%, and Jumbo is at 7.25%.

Rates have tightened slightly as the minutes of the Federal Reserve meeting revealed that the vote for the last rate cut was close and there are concerns about economic growth and inflation.This has made mortgage related securities less attractive to investors causing prices to decline and mortgage rates to rise.

For your information, here is the website you can use to check to make sure a condo you are making an offer on is FHA approved.If your buyer is using an FHA loan, it must be an FHA approved condo. Single family residences do not need approval.
