Humboldt Island
Humboldt Island in Huntington Harbour is one of five manmade islands in the City of Huntington Beach. Humboldt Island can be accessed from Edinger Avenue and Saybrook. Consisting primarily of single family residences such as houses and estates, there are no association fees and the island is open to the public. Map. Located in Huntington Harbour, it features on and off water houses, including many with boat docks. Interior square footage starts around 1,850 and can go as high as 10,000 sq.ft. in a waterfront estate.A quaint “Mother’s Beach” and annual Huntington Harbour Boat Parade plus Cruise of Lights fund raising event with tours of the lit houses are special treats. Popular at this lovely little beach where people go in the summer to relax, read a book and watch the children play is the easy launch for rafts and kayaks. Kayaking the Huntington Harbour waters is a fantastic form of exercise. The slow speed regulations prohibit jet skiing.
