To access Huntington Harbour via boat or yacht, you must pass Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station and Anaheim Bay National Wildlife Refuge in the Anaheim Bay. Huntington Harbour is the closest mainland location to Catalina Island (only 24 nautical miles) and is located between the largest municipal pleasure cruise harbor in the United States in Long Beach to the north and Newport Beach to the south.Huntington Harbour Yacht Club is the largest yachting group in Huntington Harbour. The close-knit community of members maintain a beautiful clubhouse and enjoy events such as boating and fishing contests and excursions, educational trips for under-privileged children and social functions such as meetings, fund-raisers and dinners.

Huntington Beach, California - Construction began on the Huntington Harbour complex in 1963.
